Simon Theuma is an underwater and wildlife photographer from Shellharbour NSW Australia. Simon was born on the island of Malta and surrounded by the sea, from a young age, the lure of what lies underneath instilled an interest of everything marine.
His diving career started in 1998 and underwater photography in 2000, diving the islands of Malta and Gozo and has taken him on diving expeditions to the Red Sea, the Great Barrier Reef, Truk Lagoon, and recently to Komodo, Raja Ampat, Sri Lanka, Borneo, Philippines and Thailand. Simon is currently working as a freelance photographer and delivers land and underwater photography workshops.
Simon’s greatest passion is the opportunity to travel and photograph the incredible wildlife both underwater and on land. With his images he hopes to inspire in others the natural beauty of our world and the importance of the wellbeing of our planet.
