I was born in the piney woods of East Texas, and raised in the mountains of Colorado. Currently, I reside among the ferns in Portland, Oregon with my boyfriend and 2 dogs. When I was 12, my mom gave me her old Canon AE-1. I learned darkroom in college, and continue to attend a variety of photography workshops.
My work involves simple subjects that explore deeper themes. For example- trash on a beach that hints at isolation and loneliness. I like animating the inanimate, building stories, finding quirks, color, and light. By projecting myself, I remain sane.
