I was first introduced to photography with my older brother’s analog camera when I was a child, but I didn’t develop an interest in photography until later. Many years later, I became a designer and started to work for an internationally circulated newspaper. Working in this milieu, I started to see thousands of photographs on a daily basis which were taken by the professional photojournalists from around the globe. These photos were released by Reuters, AP, AFP, Getty and other internationally image databases and distribution companies. I worked for this company about 10 years, and saw millions of this kind of photographs during this period of time. As well, I used them in my editorial designs. They inspired and encouraged me to take photos and helped me to gain a point of view.
