As a biologist and a nature photographer, I try to document those elements present in our everyday nature environment, which often pass unperceived, and which may get a new bearing when taken out of their natural context. My aim is to open the mind for those natural phenomena, that cannot be seen by the naked eye. My compositions generally show a naturalistic description of the object, but often are put into an abstract context.
My work has been awarded and published, and shown in a variety of national and international exhibitions. A picture of my series "Flight traces" has been awarded as the best creative Danish nature photograph in 2022. I have been nominated Nature Photographer of the Year 2021 by the Danish Association of Nature Photographers (NFD).
