I am a German-born freelance photographer and artist currently based in Berlin.
As a mother of five, I developed a natural interest in the question of who we are, and what defines us. Recurrent themes in my work are identity, belonging and also womanhood.
I studied at the Sir John Cass School of Art, Architecture and Design, London; with coursework also at University of Michigan, Ann Arbor and Central Saint Martins, London.
-finalist of the EyeEm Awards 2018 in Photojournalism, finalist of the 11th J.M.Cameron Award and shortlisted for the Observer Hodge Award.
-an honorable mention at the IPA 2018 and the 12th J.M.Cameron Award.
