Having graduated from University of Wales Newport in Documentary Photography (BA Hons Doc Phot), I consolidated my interest in historic architecture and conservation by completing a Post Graduate Diploma in Building Repair and Conservation. My work of the last 15 years has supported various architectural conservation and restoration projects for architects in addition to thematic photographic architectural surveys for local government across Ireland. I started a PhD in Photography in 2015 at Ulster University, and am currently on a sabbatical in Mexico. My sojourn in Mexico has given me great inspiration to pursue my original interest in street photography and what it reveals about the spirit of a place.
