I am a retired firefighter/paramedic. In late 2017, I began to look for creative ways to express myself and gravitated to photography, which I had been interested in when I was young. Landscape photography, for me, has become a way to process the thoughts and emotions I experience. I am looking for interesting light, color, and scenes that evoke an emotional response and resonate within myself. These responses to what I see and capture become tangible avenues that have helped lead me towards emotional healing.
