At the age of ten, I received a camera from my mother instructed to document the destruction of my school. While the heavy machinery hit the reinforced concrete, a passion came to life.
For ore than thirty years, black and white photography and darkrooms prints occupied an important place in my approach. The advent of digital enabled my creation to explode. Introduced to printmaking I am now enhancing many of my photographs.
Born in Montreal, self-taught artist, I uses the camera like others speak. I want my visual signature to state, suggest and move.
