Talayeh Atlasi is an Iranian multidisciplinary artist, born in Tehran, Iran in 1982.
She got started analog photography in 2002.
In 2010, during her second bachelor degree in Cinema and Multimedia and beside her profession as a film director and documentarist, she got started with digital photography.
In her photography she is inspired by her artistic experience in cinema and painting. Her photography, the same as her films is often focused on social issues, she captures the people and their feelings in contact with their surrounding mostly in a documentary, poetic or minimal style.
She had participated in group exhibitions and showcases mostly in Italy and Iran. Her earlier artworks were exhibited in Cinematheque of Tehran Museum of Contemporary Art in 2003, and Centre de Cultura Contemporània de Barcelona in 2004. She works and lives between Iran and europe for her projects.
