I take photos of the place where I was born and raised. I grew up in a ‘moshava’, a small agricultural colony which in 50 years time grew into a small city. My traveling around the country began as I turned 18 when I was drafted into the army as a photographer, assigned to take photos of soldiers and high ranked officers, operational and field trainings as well as weary ceremonies.
After two years of working from within the mechanism I became curious as to what I can make of it, this time as an outsider. My interest regarding the formation of social and also physical structures grew and I began looking for it’s projections and for how it is translated into everyday life.
