TD Deuel was born in 1970 and grew up in Central Illinois. He is a decorated US military veteran that retired from active service is 2015. Among his influence are such photographers as David Goldblatt, Don McCullin, and Henri Cartier-Bresson. Deuel now spends his time as a street photographer seeking to tell the stories of life as he sees it.
Deuel often uses his former brothers and sisters in arms as the subject of his work. His current project explores the many reasons why veterans considered suicide. He is currently attending Savannah College of Art and Design - Atlanta, where he is pursuing a Master's of Fine Art in Photography. Once he completes work at Savannah College of Art & Design, Deuel plans on returning international conflict zones as a documentary photographer.
Deuel is based out of Atlanta, Georgia and splits his time living and working between Georgia and the United Kingdom.
