TD Deuel was born in 1970 and grew up in Central Illinois. He is a decorated US military veteran that retired from active service in 2015. Among his influence are such photographers as David Goldblatt, Don McCullin, and Henri Cartier-Bresson. Deuel now spends his time as a street photographer seeking to tell the stories of life as he sees it.
