I am an Icelandic artist. I have a bachelors degree in art history and have studied at the School of photography in Iceland. I frequently use myself as a mannequin and create characters as a way to recreate thought processes. My works are my platform to interpret the notion I have of myself and the world I exist in. Each photograph is at the same time an extension of the past, the things that shape me and what I have learned, as well as glimpse into the future I go towards. I have both had solo and group exhibitions in Iceland, and been part of group exhibitions in London, Italy and Arizona. I have an upcoming solo exhibition in Volterra in Italy this year in October. I am a member of The Association of Icelandic Visual Artists.
