Teni – aka – Makcik Tenny Schneider, born in 1969 in Indonesia, is a self-taught photographer.
She started photography in 1995.
She has developed her skills and diversified her interests by attending workshops, seminars and sharing with her photographer colleagues in Indonesia and other countries.
Her photo trips led her to many places beyond Indonesia, including in Vietnam, Myanmar, China/Tibet, India, Nepal, Bangladesh, Ethiopia, Kenya, Australia, New Zealand and some European countries.
She loves to photograph people, has a particular interest for children and elderly people, and the traditional ways of local people from rural and remote villages. She is passionate about storytelling in imagery.
Currently she lives in Paris, France.
