I photograph exclusively in film and I develop and print in darkroom.
For me photography is a door wide open to new visions and possible realities: the way to see what the eyes can't see.
I would like to stimulate a reflection on the perception of reality, giving the possibility to escape, through photography, from the common concept of time and space. The subject of my research is light in all its manifestations in space and time: also with my nudes I try to desobjectify the body considering it lighting matter that releases energies and drives.
Every moment of the process is essential.... aesthetics is the process, the ’how’: shooting, development and printing are three different stages of a single experience.
Photography, like all forms of art, is an erotic encounter between the artist and matter: it is always in constant (e)motion and changes every time...just like everything around us.
