Coming from a background of surfing since a young age I was inspired to try to capture the fleeting moments of sheer beauty and human courage I saw on a daily basis. I am a self taught photographer and for the past five years I have been trying to capture dramatic moments in the ocean. I figured anyone can shoot surfing from land and my niche would be to do so whilst swimming under my own power.
