I work to capture the peculiarities of often overlooked everyday life in the Western United States. I have a passion for places beyond traffic jams and running water, and for the people inhabiting them who choose to live on their own terms. Using natural light and mostly film, I document real life characters and wild places with abandon.
I'm originally from Idaho, now based in Seattle, Washington. I live with my fiancé, artist Whitney Dale Borden, our hound mix Mona, and small, fluffy mutt Cowboy. We're expecting our first child early next year.
