I am a self-proclaimed organic visual artist with a camera. I create images, visually bringing concepts and imagination to life. I began freelancing part-time in 2003 documenting people, culture and the performing arts. At the end of 2007 and at the beginning of the recession, I was laid-off from my day job. I had worked in the field of youth advocacy and consoling, family development, and community development for 15 years.
Although it was disappointing to lose a job I was dedicated to for several years, I took the experience as a cloud with a silver lining and pursued my true creative passion - Photography. Two years later, Zire Photography and Graphics was born.
I currently live and work in Phoenix, Arizona as a visual artist and service photographer specializing in portraiture, documentary and commercial photography in the fields of music, sports, fashion, and editorial. I am now studying journalism and film.
