Verena Andrea Prenner is an Austrian sociologist and artistic photographer.
She undertakes long-lasting sociological field research f.e. in refugee camps in the Middle East, in Central Africa, or in the Viennese red-light district, and deals with different fringe groups. For her artistic projects, she works with non-professional volunteers or casual passers-by to express individual reflections and views on societies in form of stage settings.
