About Yee-Ping Cho

1960s. Brooklyn. Roller hockey. Break dancing. Disco. Grandmaster Flash. Paul Rand. Saul Bass. Chinese brushwork. Chinese opera. Yo Yo Ma. Tea. I am the product of two amazing Chinese immigrants. My father owned and operated the first gallery in Manhattan to showcase Chinese artists (Mi Chou) and my mother exposed me to photography with her ever-present Rolleiflex. I studied graphic design and now work in Los Angeles in a variety of creative roles.
