Youngjin Noh was born and raised in South Korea. He lived in Guatemala and Mexico for years to study and learn the language and culture. He studied English Literature in S. Korea. After graduation in 2006, he worked as a journalist for Asia Economy Daily News in South Korea. Then, he decided to become a photographer and came to New York City. Since he had his two-year minimal photography training at the School of Visual Arts in New York City, Youngjin Noh has been traveling and photographing extensively in the Middle East, Central America, USA, and S. Korea with the themes such as ‘civilization’ and ’faith’ for years. In 2014, he had a solo exhibition at ‘El Sitio Centro Cultural’ gallery in Antigua, Guatemala. He’s currently working as a freelance photographer and running photography workshops in Mexico and Guatemala.
