Bored as a junior designer, Yves took the chance to assist in a fashion/still life studio. After almost 2 years, he'd get an offer from the swiss military. They wanted him to document the swiss army across the country. He took this chance and loved the hard breack from the fashion world. From then on he worked as a freelancer. His work documents life in an evocative, honest and atmospheric way with an eye for the intersection between reportage and lifestyle photography, sometimes pairing pops of color with moody portraits, mysterious and imaginative settings, often inspired through natural landscapes. creating powerful campaigns and classic portraiture through a simplistic approach to light and style.
