Zachary L. Taylor is a visual artist creating representations of his childhood subconscious during his Catholic upbringing in Las Vegas, Nevada. While using uncanny imagery, his photographs depict a type of spectacle and humor that reveals a complicated understanding of power, wealth, and desire. His most recent work has evolved into sculptural performance involving costumes created by combining fetishized objects. His projects are an attempt at the metamorphosis of societal fantasies into living, immature comprehensions. After graduating with a BA in studio art and creative writing from DePauw University, Indiana, Zach now lives in Santa Fe, continuing to create sculptures and photographs.
