Alexa Becker is a freelance representative for Kehrer Verlag, an international publisher based in Germany, focusing on photography and art. In her position as Acquisitions Editor, she was responsible for selecting and acquiring new photography-related projects for the publishing house. Whilst representing Kehrer Verlag on occasions like portfolio reviews, Alexa is an independent freelance consultant, advising and coaching photographers in various stages of their careers. Her expertise ranges from publishing & book-making to editing and promoting the work internationally. Alexa serves as juror on a number of leading photography competitions and has been a reviewer at international portfolio reviews since 2008.
WIRED
Anna Goldwater Alexander is Director of Photography at WIRED. She's been overseeing WIRED photography and commissioning photographers for over twenty years. She has been awarded honors from the American Society of Magazine Editors, Society of Publication Design, American Photography, Art Directors Club and Communication Arts. Anna has a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Photography from the University of Arizona. She resides in Northern California with her husband, two teenagers, four cats and Trout the dog.
Apple
Arem is currently a Creative Director within Apple's Worldwide Marketing Department.
Previously he served as Design Director of The New York Times Magazine where he led a department that was named 'Design Team of The Year' by The Art Directors Club (ADC) for 3 consecutive years. During his tenure the magazine received numerous Gold and Silver medals including 'Magazine of the Year' from The Society of Publication Designers (SPD) and an Emmy for the short film series - 'Touch of Evil'.
Duplessis has been recognized by D&AD, The Art Directors Club, The Society of Publication Designers (SPD), The American Society of Magazine Editors (ASME), The Type Directors Club (TDC), The American Institute of Graphic Arts (AIGA), American Photography, American Illustration, Graphis, The International Review of African American Art, Creative Review, Communication Arts Magazine among others.
In March 2012 he was honored as one of the five distinguished alumni of Pratt Institute.
Duplessis has served as a visiting professor within Pratt Institute's Graduate Communications Design Department, The School of Visual Arts (SVA) and The Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in Copenhagen. He has lectured throughout the United States and abroad including London, Copenhagen, Oslo, Madrid, Barcelona, Jakarta and Dubai. Duplessis received a B.A. from Hampton University (VA) and an M.S. from Pratt Institute (NY).
The Guardian Saturday Magazine
Caroline Hunter is a picture editor for The Guardian Saturday Magazine. Caroline has over 20 years experience of commissioning photography (from concept to celebrity, portraiture, still-life, beauty, fashion and documentary photography) and reviewing photo-essays and proposals. Caroline is regularly invited to review portfolios at international photo festivals and has also acted as a judge for a number of photography competitions.
Magnum Photos
Carolyn Drake works on long term photo-based projects seeking to interrogate dominant historical narratives and creatively reimagine them. Her practice embraces collaboration and has in recent years melded photography with sewing, collage, and sculpture. She is interested in collapsing the traditional divide between author and subject, the real and the imaginary, challenging entrenched binaries. She has received a Guggenheim Fellowship, the Henri Cartier Bresson Award, a Peter S Reed Foundation grant, the Lange Taylor Prize, and a Fulbright fellowship, among other prizes. She is represented by Yancey Richardson Gallery and Magnum Photos.
Nazraeli Press
Chris Pichler founded Nazraeli Press in Munich, Germany in 1989. In 1997, the press moved to the United States and in 2002 opened a subsidiary in the United Kingdom. Nazraeli Press has published over 500 books on the fine and applied arts with an emphasis on contemporary photography. The books are distributed throughout the world. Pichler edits and designs most of the books published by Nazraeli. He is known for his unorthodox use of common materials—such as papers, wood, plastic, metals—and for introducing elements of handiwork into otherwise mass-produced objects. The press's award-winning books have themselves been the subject of exhibitions and books about books.
Yancey Richardson Gallery
Cortney Norman is the Associate Director at Yancey Richardson Gallery. Founded in 1995, the gallery specializes in contemporary photography and represents a number of influential and critically recognized photographers and artists including Mitch Epstein, Anthony Hernandez, Zanele Muholi, and Mickalene Thomas. Prior to joining Yancey Richardson, Cortney was the Assistant Director at Howard Greenberg Gallery, who's collection of over 40,000 prints acts as a living history of photography. She graduated from New York University with a degree in Art History and focus on photography.
Griffin Museum
Before coming to the Griffin Museum in 2020 she spent fifteen years operating her own photography gallery, wall space creative, closing it in 2020 to make the move to New England and the Griffin. Having a career spanning many paths she has a background rooted in science, business and creative art. This well rounded experience provides a solid background for supporting the Griffin's mission to encourage a broader understanding and appreciation of the visual, emotional and social impact of photographic art.
The Griffin Museum curates over 50 exhibitions a year. As an institution, we are committed to ensuring that our mindset, our practice, our outreach, our programming and our exhibitions set a framework with priorities for building programs and exhibitions that consider diversity, equity, accessibility, and inclusion through our mission that is centered around the photograph.
Crista has written many essays about photography, introducing creative artists work to a broader community. She has been a member of numerous panels and discussions on the craft of photography, juried creative competitions and has participated in major portfolio reviews.
TIME
Dilys Ng is Deputy Director of Photography at TIME. She commissions, produces and edits photography across platforms for high impact features and projects like TIME100, Person of the Year, Guns in America and Next Generation Leaders. She was previously at the Singapore International Photography Festival and has served as juror on multiple awards and reviews.
Polka Magazine
Dimitri Beck is the editor-in-chief of the Paris based photography magazine, Polka. Dimitri has been part of the executive management of Polka since 2008, contributing to the development of the magazine, gallery and website, including the magazine's new feature-rich iPad version. Dimitri lectures on photojournalism at conferences and educational institutes. Prior to working at Polka, he was the Director of the Aina Photo Agency based in the Afghan capital Kabul.
The New Yorker
Giada De Agostinis is a photo editor at The New Yorker. Before joining the magazine, she was Aperture's Communications Manager. Prior to that, she worked as communications manager at Photograph magazine and Picter. She was also the editor of Paper Journal, a platform of contemporary photography. She holds an MA in publishing from Oxford Brookes University, UK, and a degree in communications from La Sapienza, University of Rome.
PhMuseum
Giuseppe Oliverio (Bologna, 1985) is the Founder and Artistic Director of PhMuseum and PhMuseum Days International Photography Festival. Since 2012, he has led the organization to develop their renewed Grants and Education Programs, while curating more than 50 exhibitions working with artists like Penelope Umbrico, Thomas Mailander, Pacifico Silano, Marcelo Brodsky, Angelica Dass, Vasantha Yogananthan among many others. He has further conducted workshops in Argentina, Brazil, Italy, and in the Middle East. He has been a juror of awards such as Lucie Photo Book Prize, Magenta Foundation's Flash Forward, Blow Up Press Book Award, LensCulture Critics' Choice, United Photo Industry The Fence, and Cortona Happiness OnTheMove. He has worked as a portfolio reviewer for Futures Photography, Unseen, Photo Vogue Festival, Fotografia Europea, Cortona OTM, Verzasca Foto, PhEST and Visa Pour L'Image. He has written for TIME magazine and L'Uomo Vogue.
High Museum of Art
Gregory J. Harris is the Donald and Marilyn Keough Family Curator of Photography at the High Museum of Art in Atlanta. He is a specialist in contemporary photography with a particular interest in documentary practice. Since joining the Museum in 2016, Harris has curated over a dozen exhibitions that consider an array of topics including social justice, the intersections of photography and self-taught art, and distinct history of photography in the South. He has grown the collection by more than 2,000 photographs, including major acquisitions by Deana Lawson, Paul Graham, and Zanele Muholi, and commissions by Jim Goldberg, and An-My Lê. Harris was previously the Assistant Curator at the DePaul Art Museum in Chicago and also held curatorial positions at the Art Institute of Chicago. He earned a BFA in photography from Columbia College Chicago and an MA in art history from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago.
M+ Museum
Isabella Tam is Curator of Visual Art at M+, a museum of visual culture in Hong Kong. Her expertise lays in contemporary art in Asia with specific focus on the parallel development and exchanges of Chinese art, Japanese art, and photography in global contemporary discourse. She was in the inaugural team contributed to the building of the institution's premier collection of Asia contemporary art and the opening display. Exhibitions she curated or organized includes, Right Is Wrong: Four Decades of Chinese Art in M+ Sigg Collection (Buildmuseet, Umeå, 2014, Whitworth Gallery, Manchester, 2015) , M+ Sigg Collection: From Revolution to Globalisation (2021-2023), Sigg Prize 2023, and the full retrospective of Yayoi Kusama: 1945 to Now (2022). She is the curator of Yasumasa Morimura & Cindy Sherman: Masquerades, which will open in December 2024. Tam was also a curator-in-residency at the Tokyo Arts and Space in 2023, and was a curatorial fellow at that Whitechapel Gallery, London, 2011.
The New York Times Magazine
Jessica Dimson is the director of photography at The New York Times Magazine where she assigns, produces, and edits photography for covers, special issues, photo essays and features. Prior to that, she worked as a photo editor on the national and metro desks at the New York Times and was the photo editor for the 2016 presidential campaign. Previously, Jessica was a photo editor at Vanity Fair and Departures magazine. Her work has been recognized by the Society of Publication Designers, American Photography, The Art Directors Club, and Pictures of the Year International.
LensCulture
Jim Casper is the editor-in-chief and co-founder of LensCulture, one of the leading online destinations to discover new contemporary photography from around the world. As an active member in the contemporary photography world, Casper loves to meet with photographers and review their portfolios. He curates art exhibitions, publishes books, conducts workshops, serves as an international juror and nominator for key awards, and is an advisor to arts and education organizations.

Karen McQuaid is Senior Curator at The Photographers' Gallery in London. She has curated exhibitions including Jim Goldberg, Open See (2009); Fiona Tan, Vox Populi, London (2012); Andy Warhol, Photographs: 1976 – 1987 (2014); Lorenzo Vitturi, Dalston Anatomy (2014) and Rosângela Rennó, Río-Montevideo (2016). She has co-curated Geraldo De Barros, What Remains (2013) with Isobel Whitelegg and Made You Look, Dandyism and Black Masculinity (2016) with Ekow Eshun. She has co-edited and produced The New Colonists (2018) by Monica Alcazar-Duarte, published with Bemojake. Karen has curated external exhibitions at The Moscow House of Photography and The National Gallery of Kosovo. She regularly edits artists books and guest lectures across the UK.

Laura Sackett is the creative director and co-founder of LensCulture, one of the leading sites committed to discovering and publishing the best in the contemporary photography. She leads all aspects of design including strategy, brand, website, print, communications, screenings and exhibitions. Besides leading the creative direction for LensCulture, she also designs and co-curates LensCulture exhibitions and the online galleries. Laura also serves as a juror, reviewer & nominator in several international Photo Awards and Festivals.

Louise Fedotov-Clements is the Director of Photoworks, a leading international contemporary photography and media organization, charity and biennial festival. Co-founder, and former director for FORMAT Festival & previous Artistic Director for QUAD, a center for contemporary art and film. As a creative director, she has led commissions, publications, mass participation art, film and photography programmes and exhibitions around the world. Acting National Curator of Contemporary Art Forestry England. Co-director of Earth Photo. Louise writes about photography for catalogues and magazines in both print and online including Next Level, South Korean Photography, 1000words, co-editor of Hijacked III UK/AUS, PHOTOCINEMA. She is an international photography juror, advisor and nominator, a regular portfolio reviewer at festivals and galleries throughout Europe, America, Africa and Asia. Board member for Archivo and Inspirate.
D La Repubblica
Manila Camarini is the chief photo editor for D La Repubblica, a magazine attached to the newspaper la Repubblica. Born in Milan in 1973, Manila Camarini started her career as a photographic agent working for major Italian newspapers. She has held the role of photo editor for Panorama Travel Mondadori and Condè Nast Traveller. In 2003, she worked as a professional journalist and photo editor for D La Repubblica and in November 2014 she became chief photo editor for D Lui.
Aperture
Michael Famighetti is the Editor of Aperture magazine. In 2013, he organized a relaunch and reconceptualization of the publication, which won a 2018 National Magazine Award for General Excellence. He is the recipient, with guest editor Sarah Lewis, of the ICP Infinity Award for Critical Writing and Research for "Vision & Justice," the summer 2016 issue of Aperture.
In addition to editing the magazine, Famighetti commissions and edits books for the Aperture Foundation, including volumes by William Christenberry, Robert Adams, John Divola, Jonas Bendiksen, Kwame Brathwaite and Joel Meyerowitz, among others. He is currently a visiting critic at the Yale University School of Art and a participant in SVA's Mentors program.
His writing has appeared in Frieze, Bookforum and Aperture, among other publications. He is a member of the American Society of Magazine Editors and has been a guest reviewer and speaker at many international festivals and institutions, including the Museum of Modern Art, New York; The New York Times; Vogue Italia; FOAM, Amsterdam; the Art Gallery of Ontario; the Bamako Biennial, Mali; Kyotographie, Kyoto; Museet for Fotokunst, Odense, Denmark; and Fotografiska, Stockholm.
Fotografiska International
Pauline Benthede is the Global Vice President of Exhibitions at Fotografiska and Chairman of Fotografiska's Exhibition Committee. She has worked at Fotografiska since the inauguration of Fotografiska Stockholm in 2010 and is today strategically and creatively responsible for the exhibitions that tour Fotografiska Stockholm, New York and Tallinn, and strategically responsible for exhibitions in the planning of future Fotografiska museums. She has produced, managed and/or curated a significant number of exhibitions with international artists such as Andres Serrano, David LaChapelle, Inez & Vinoodh, Hassan Hajjaj, Sarah Moon, Cooper & Gorfer, Ren Hang, Patrick Demarchelier, Martin Schoeller, Motohiko Odani, Anton Corbijn, Bettina Rheims, Isaac Julien and Sebastiao Salgado, to name a few.
Pauline Benthede holds a degree of Bachelor of Fine Arts in photography from Gothenburg University and studied curating at Stockholm University and photography history at Umeå University.
Photoville
Currently serving as the Creative Director of United Photo Industries, Sam Barzilay is also the co-founder of Photoville, a photographic gathering that has rapidly become one of the largest and best-attended photography events in North America. Sam is also one of the founding producers of the T3 Photo Festival in Tokyo, Japan.
Sam holds a Master in Photojournalism from the University of Westminster (UK), where his studies focused on curatorial and photo-editing practices. Over the past decade, he has worked alongside some of the best and brightest minds in the global photographic community in pursuit of developing new audiences for photography. He is interested in devising methods of presentation that further amplify the power of photographic storytelling to help increase public awareness and bring about social change.
National Geographic
Samantha Clark is a managing photo editor at National Geographic, where she leads digital and short-form storytelling for the photography department. She also produces stories with a focus on science, history, and the environment. Her work has received recognition from the National Magazine Awards, Edward R. Murrow Awards, and Pictures of the Year International. She holds a master's in journalism from UC Berkeley and previously worked at NPR and Pier 24 Photography.
San Francisco Museum of Modern Art
Shana Lopes, PhD, is an Assistant Curator of Photography at the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art. She has organized exhibitions on cyanotypes, the 1906 earthquake, Atget, Wright Morris, and Eikoh Hosoe. She was the co-curator of Constellations: Photographs in Dialogue (2021), which paired recent acquisitions with existing work from the collection, and A Living for Us All: Artists and the WPA (2021). Most recently, she organized Sightlines: Photographs from the Collection (2022). Over the past fourteen years, she has gained curatorial experience at the Center for Creative Photography in Tucson, Arizona, and the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York.

Agence VU & Gallery VU
Xavier Soule is the CEO of Abvent Group and president and director of Agence VU', one of the most renowned agencies and galleries for photographers in France and Europe. The aim of Galerie VU' is to affirm, on the walls, the diversity of contemporary stylistic photographic approaches, and to compare and contrast current viewpoints, so they can dialogue with their differences.
