Cuban-born photographer Abelardo Morell has been making astonishing photographs for almost 30 years, continually re-inventing his art, and forever curious and engaged. This short interview by the Art Institute of Chicago in 2013 covers some of the highlights and “aha!” moments of his career from 1986 to the present, including many newer color photographs.
