This is a simple story about two men who have been living together in Warsaw for six years.
The pictures speak eloquently all by themselves, and really don't need much text. But here is a little background information:
Gienek is 54. For the last few years, he has made a living by collecting scrap, holding odd jobs or selling things found in garbage dumps.
Marcin is 60 and is a veterinarian by trade. A few years ago, he resigned from work because of his mother’s illness. After his mother’s death, he never went back to work.
Marcin is ailing and often has to rely on Gienek’s help. These photos give a glimpse of the tenderness in their day-to-day lives.
