Just about every day, lifetime Toronto resident Jay Morrison posts a new photo to his photoblog. The subject matter is mostly old stuff, beat up, decaying, abandoned, Jay usually returns to a spot he finds and waits for the light to reveal its magic in a celebration of color.

He prefers to let the photos speak for themselves; he rarely includes more than a word or two of text with each photo. But like a wandering Beat poet, he finds beauty in the cast-off and left behind.

Editor's Note: As far as we can tell, the artist's blog, artiseverywhere.blog-city.com, is now defunct. But we would appreciate any update on the whereabouts of his great work!
