As a sociologist I was always interested in cultural differences. During the past year, I had opportunity to travel through Latin America for 9 months and to gain insight in many different forms of living. These photos are part of a series I made of the Latin American people. These photos were taken at many different locations and under various circumstances.

My interests as a photographer reflect my professional background, even though my experience of photographic exploration stands at the other end of the scientific, analytical approach I use in my work. As a photographer I am drawn to capturing inimitable, unrepeatable and unpredictable moments of human existence through intuitive and aesthetic prism of my own worldview.
