LensCulture celebrates 20 years of discovering photographic talent! Now, we look to the next two decades, seeking visionary artists who are defining photography's future. We're searching for artists who blend profound vision with technical mastery & craft, creating work that speaks to our times and touches eternal human truths.

LensCulture x MPB

The Discovery of the Year Award celebrates a photographer who has demonstrated exceptional vision and excellence in their craft. The winner, selected by a distinguished jury comprised of experts from LensCulture and MPB, will receive a substantial prize package of a $5,000 cash award and an additional $5,000 toward photographic equipment from MPB.

Cash Awards & Recognition

1 Discovery of the Year winner

The Discovery of the Year Photographer will receive $5,000 and a $5,000 credit for photographic equipment from MBP. Through this award, MPB reaffirms its commitment to nurturing and supporting photographers, providing them with the resources and recognition to further their career. The Discovery of the Year photographer will be highlighted at both exhibitions in London and in New York in 2025, and their work will be featured prominently on LensCulture’s global platforms.

6 New Visions Award winners

One Winner from each of the six Categories will be chosen. Each Series winner will receive $2,000, and the Moments/Singles winner will receive $1,000. All six winners will be featured at both exhibitions in London and New York, and will be featured prominently on LensCulture’s global platforms.

18 Shortlisted photographers

Three shortlisted photographers from each of the six Categories will be selected by the juries and featured prominently in the Winners’ Announcement on LensCulture as well as the press release sent to international media outlets around the globe.
