Caitriona Dunnett is an Irish photographer based in the UK. She investigates memory and its subjective, personal and forgotten narratives through nineteenth century photographic techniques.
Recent exhibitions have included: ESPY Photography Award 2019; Mass Paths, Customhouse Studios and Gallery, Ireland; FOTOLIMO Festival, France; Impressions Biennial, Ireland; PhotoIreland’s New Irish Works, the Library Project, Ireland and the Centre Culturel Irlandais, France.
She is a partner with Dr Hilary Bishop from Liverpool John Moores University in a British Academy project, ‘A Well Trodden Path’. Dunnett was awarded an an-Artist Bursary, a Grain Photography Hub Bursary, an AA2A artist residency at Coventry University and selected for PhotoIrelands New Irish Works programme. She received a grant from the Arts Council England.
Dunnett has a MFA from Rhode Island School of Design, USA and graduated with a BA (Hons) from Nottingham Trent University.
