Abigail Ekue is a NY-based portrait photographer and curator focusing on gender, social representation and body neutrality through editorial, art and nude photography.
She is the photographer behind the Bare Men series, her claim to fame since 2012. She made her curatorial debut in 2019 with Bare Men: The Group Show.
Her work has been published in PAPER, The Huffington Post, Time Out New York, L'Oeil de la Photographie, WideWalls, Focus Magazine along with various publications in the US, UK, France, Mexico, Germany, Switzerland and India. Exhibitions have included those at Museum of the City of New York, Musée du Louvre, Houston Center for Photography, Bartow-Pell Mansion Museum, Erotic Heritage Museum, BKhz Gallery (Johannesburg) and inclusion in the Lusted Men collection.
