I am an amateur photographer, living in the Netherlands. Originally, I am from Cuba, where I lived for ten years. My background is in psychometrics, the field where psychology and statistics meet. Currently, I work as a statistician. I am passionate about complex systems and their behavior. Topics such as society and human interaction inspire me because they are such complex things, where complex is not per sé complicated, but also extensive and elaborated.
I try to let that interest of mine shine through my photography. This is reflected in my attempts to enrich the scenery, by double exposure mainly. This technique allows me to go beyond the plain view: it helps me accentuate the complexity that I see at first sight.
