I am interested in developing interdisciplinary collaborations and experimental methodologies across different areas of knowledge, engaging with the latest debates about the relationship between art, science and anthropology.
I advocate for thought-provoking projects that can generate an intersubjective exchange of experiences. In my work, the conventional and pre-established ways of working are put aside, facilitated the emergence of a new process-based and participatory form of knowledge.
With a background in biological sciences at the Universidad de Antioquia (Medellín, Colombia), I received my MA and PhD in Social Anthropology with Visual and Sensory Media from the University of Manchester, finishing in 2016.
I have been involved in different photography, sound-art, community-based and relational art projects.
