Born 14.10.1987, Alexandra Avdonina is a photographer and cinematographer.
She has started photography at the age of 6 with Zenit-made portrait of her dad. When she was 14, her interest developed into a serious hobby and 4 years later she took her first photography course.
In 2010, Alexandra graduated from Moscow State Institute of Culture as an advertising director. In 2015, she continued her education as a cinematographer at Moscow Film School that she successfully graduated from in 2017.
By now, Alexandra’s professional portfolio includes several feature films she served as a DOP and several features she joined as a camerawoman. Among the latter is Andrey Konchalovky feature film “Dear Comrades” (aka Dorogie tovarishchi).
Alexandra continues to do photography as a form of self-expression.
In 2020, her photo work has been selected to be a part of exhibition “Mirrors and Reflections” curated by LoosenArt in Rome.
