Hi! I am Zijian Xu, or you can call me alex.
I am from China and I am currently studying Urban Design at Cornell University in the United States. The photographic equipment I am using is digital and film cameras. Fuji's Xt4 with 16-80 lens and Olympus' XA+A11 flash, respectively.
Due to the influence of the design program, I started to perceive the world through photography many years ago. When I came to New York to study urban design in graduate school, I began to more frequently in this charming city, through the lens and black and white images to feel the changes of the city.
The different cultural background allows me to have a special perspective on every city I arrive in and every subject I photograph.
