I currently lives in Cape Town, South Africa and draw on my formal training and continued work as an Industrial/ Occupational Psychologist to inspire her photographic projects and explorations.
A protégé of renowned South African fine-art photographer Pieter Hugo, I have pursued a number of social documentary work. Her most recent such project is a study of a subsistence fishing village Northwest of Cape Town in which tourism has brought about a cultural and racial collision between longtime inhabitants and more affluent visitors. A recent recipient of the Master of Professional Studies in Digital Photography degree from New York’s prestigious School of Visual Arts.
I am energised by continuing to create images that explore life in all its facets and I continue to be fascinated with how we choose to live our lives through interactions with others.
