About Amber Crabbe

Through photography and video, Ms. Crabbe creates vignettes of imagined worlds by imposing cognitive processes onto physical landscapes. She holds an MFA from the San Francisco Art Institute and received a Bachelors in Art and Design from MIT. She was awarded a fellowship at the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts and received the Murphy-Cadogan Contemporary Art Award. She has participated in juried exhibitions throughout the U.S., including the San Francisco Arts Commission Gallery, the Griffin Museum of Photography, SF Camerawork, SomArts, the Pacific Film Archive, Rayko Photo Center, and the Whatcom Museum. She lives and works in San Francisco, California.
