About Amber Snay

SUNY Plattsburgh graduate, Ordained Minister, Native American, drinks way too much coffee, owns her own YouTube channel, unsigned model, amateur photographer, loves cats, hates cooked spinach, music? MUSIC. <3 (Love me.)

I've had film cameras that others would develop for me since I was a kid, and boy were some of the pictures bad... but I'd be happy with them anyway because they were mine. I love architecture, closeups, night photography, nature, etc. Interesting textures and plays of light and a really good line in a photograph really get me excited about the image. I love photos that play tricks with the eyes. I've had digital cameras since late high school, starting off with really crappy digital cameras and getting better.

I've learned that it's really... not the camera, but the eye behind the camera that counts. I've gotten some decent self-portraits from my laptop camera for instance, while others with really good cameras can't take pictures well at all. Equipment Management 101 is a must for any beginner photographer, ayup. *nod-nod*

I know I ramble, it's how my brain works. Sorry. =(>w<)=

If you'd like to learn more about me, check out my Twitter, contact me, observe me, I'm not hard to find. I'm pretty interesting, I think. I may not make much sense, or a lot of sense, depending on which sense you're talking about. *shrug*

Either way, three semesters of official training at college and about two decades' worth of messing around with different types of photography on my own, and I've got an interesting style I think. *thumbs up*
