Amy Jo Wisehart was born in Quincy, Illinois in 1987, and was raised in La Grange, Missouri. In 2006, she moved to Southern Louisiana. Amy Jo then completed her BFA at Nicholls State University in 2013 with a senior exhibition that included photography, painting and papermaking. In 2013, she was awarded a scholarship to attend Penland School of Arts & Crafts where she studied with Arno Rafael Minkkinen. She has had a solo show at 107 Gallery in San Antonio, TX, and shown in other galleries such as Foto Foto Gallery in Huntington, NY and PPG Gallery in Houma, LA.
