My name is Andrea Cimini, I am a professional photographer and I live in Rome, Italy. I deal with nature and sport, my two great passions. I have a degree in Geology, collaborating with ASI (Italian Space Agency) and ESA (European Space Agency). I also practice and promote Parkour in my city, teaching and organizing events since 2011. I decided to tell the relationship between cities and inhabitants through a photographic project on Parkour. I grew up in a small country town and for me moving to a metropolis like Rome represented a radical change. Chaos and individualism. Traffic. The impossibility of reaching a place simply by drawing a straight line. Impositions and obstacles. In Parkour I found spontaneity. In addition, I find that Parkour has given to me the positivity needed to face daily obstacles and challenges.
