Andreas Marx is an independent Toronto-based photographer. Growing up in East Germany, he has been capturing images since the mid 1980's. Walking the streets of Berlin before and after the fall of the Wall has significantly shaped his ability to observe.
"As an individual and photographer I am intrigued by people and their makeup. It is greatly rewarding to portray individuals in close-up studio situations as well as candid on the street, freezing moments of genuine personality.
