I am a Colombian documentary photographer interested in both exploring the situation of the victims of the armed conflict in my country, and telling stories about the cultural expressions of different communities abandoned by the government. In 2013, I published my first photo book called "Desarraigo", which narrates the forced displacement of the Embera indigenous community in Colombia. This book was awarded with different prizes and was exhibited in some Latin American countries. I have worked for NGOs, as a photography teacher and I was appointed Canon Colombia Ambassador, 2015-2016.
