About Andrey Bezlepkin

He is a Russian documentary photographer and journalist with more than 20 years of experience. Works on long-term projects about subcultures and small communities, little-known places in the Russian regions and the lives of indigenous peoples. His work has been published in National Geographic Russia, National Geographic Denmark, Harvard Business Review Russia, Kommersant, Foto&Video, Foma and other media.

His one-man exhibition, ‘The Land of a Thousand Spirits,’ was dedicated to the nature, culture and traditions of the Barguzin Valley in Buryatia.

He has participated in various exhibitions such as ‘The Soyots of the Eastern Sayan,’ ‘Unique Aquatic Features of Russia’ and ‘The Volga Biennale.’
