About anna huix

Anna Huix is a portrait photographer. She was born Barcelona in 1983. She moved to London after studying in Paris and New York City at Parsons School for Design. She now lives and works between the UK and Spain where she does editorial and personal projects.

Anna is commissioned regularly by leading international periodicals including The Telegraph Weekend Magazine, The New York Times and FT. She has also published her work at New York Magazine, Time, Wall Street Journal, Monocle, The Independent and El Pais, amongst others.

Her work has been exhibited at The Educational Center of The State Hermitage Museum in Saint Petersburg, Taschen, Daniel Cooney Fine Art, Calumet Gallery and Perfect Wave Gallery in New York City, Espace Commines in Paris, Dictateur Gallery in Milan and in MS Galería in Madrid. In 2014, Anna was invited to participate in “Contexto crítico. Fotografía Española siglo XXI” which was funded by the Spanish Department of Culture and highlighted emerging photographers in Spain.

Anna enjoys people and their colours. She loves her job.
