About Anna Katharina Zeitler
Anna Katharina Zeitler studied photography at the Munich Academy of Photographic Design.
After graduating she moved to New York City to pursue her work.
Between 2006 and 2010 she received five grants to live and work in Chile, Spain and India.
Her work was been awarded several times, most recently she was a 2017 Head on Portrait Award Finalist, a Moscow International Photography Award Winner and a 2019 American Photography Winner.
She has taken part in exhibitions at relevant institutions for contemporary photography all over the world including the Griffin Museum of Photography, the Lucie Foundation, the Head on Photography Festival, the Museum of Sydney, the Pingyao China International Photography Festival, the Indian Photography Festival , the Munich City Museums and the Wiesbadener Fototage.
Since 2017 she has been teaching workshops with children and adolescents at the Berlin State Museums.
Her first monograph "If you can dream it, you can do it" was published by Kehrer in 2019.
