I am an Australian photo-media artist based in Hobart, Tasmania.
Since completing a Master of Fine Art at the University of Tasmania in 1983, I have presented twenty-one solo exhibitions of my photography and participated in over one hundred curated, survey and museum shows.
Drawing on the history of the Vanitas still life genre and the association of photographs as memento mori, my work explores the symbolic potential of everyday artefacts in contemporary consumer culture to speak about love and loss.
