Barlinckhoff was born in 1989. Currently lives in Amsterdam and Delhi and works between different places in Europe, Africa and South Asia. She graduated from the Gerrit Rietveld Academie with a Bachelor of Fine Arts.
Her work has been exhibited in the USA, South Africa, Australia and across Europe. She has additionally been published at Magnum Photos, Der Greif, i-D, Vice, Dazed, Nataal, Playboy and Vogue Italia.
Solo exhibitions have taken place at The Quin, New York (2017); SAI Atelier, Amsterdam (2016); Wieden+Kennedy, Amsterdam (2013). She has exhibited in notable group shows at Galeria Joseph Le Palais, Paris (2023); Soho Photo Gallery, New York (2023); The Untitled Space, New York (2020); Art Basel, Miami (2018); SCOPE Art Fair, Miami (2018); Landskrona Foto Festival, Sweden (2018), To Earth: a Declaration of Love, Photo Vogue Festival, Milan (2017); What a Time to be Alive, Slow Culture, Los Angeles (2016); Unseen Photo Fair, Amsterdam (2015) and more.
