Annette Willis has gained finalist places and honourable mentions in national and international photography awards including the Black and White Spider Awards; the Julia Margaret Cameron Award for Women in Photography ; Prix de la Photographie (PX3) ; International Loupe Awards; International Monochrome Awards; US Mobile Photography Awards; the US Color Masters Cup; the Charles Dodgson Award and the SALA Festival Awards.
Annette has been a finalist in many Australian and international portraiture prizes including Head On; Olive Cotton; Maggie Diaz Award for Women in Photography; the Moran Contemporary Photographic Prize; Sydney Life: Art and About and the London Photographic Association Portraiture Prize.
She has had fifteen solo exhibitions at galleries around Australia and has had work shown in London, New York and at both the 3rd, 4th and 5th International Biennial of Fine Art and Documentary Photography (Malaga, 2014; Berlin, 2016; Barcelona, 2018).
