I am transitioning, from a portrait business where I once made pictures to please indivual subjects, to a private practice where I make pictures to please - and pique - a wider audience.
I am struck by my need for an audience in order to make images. Like the ubiquitous falling tree in the forest, is there a point to an image's existence if there is no witness to perceive it.
