Anushila Shaw is a portrait & product photographer in New York City. She is a graduate of the Masters’ Fashion Photography program at the School of Visual Arts, NYC. Prior to her photography career, Anushila was an attorney and she practiced securities litigation and regulatory investigations with a focus on representing financial institutions after the financial crisis. Anushila’s undergraduate degree is in finance and she worked on the trading floor of an international German bank as an undergrad.
However, she was always passionate about art and photography. Four years ago she made the jump from serious hobbyist to professional photographer. Anushila is inspired by her travels, exploring cultures and politics. Her photography reflects her unique and varied interests and experiences. She shoots out of her own studios in Brooklyn.
