From farmers in flat caps, to young men sporting the same haircut and similar pastel suit jackets, Brits captures life in Buckinghamshire in a thoughtful and occasionally amusing manner. Focusing in on the details, these images paint a vivid portrait of small town life. Capturing the similarities of different generations side by side, this series makes subtle observations on British culture.

Brits initially began in response to my move from London to a small village in Buckinghamshire a few years ago. At first, it was born out of geographical necessity. Surrounded by a new landscape, the images I was capturing naturally shifted. However, last year I made a conscious decision to try and record as best I could the different aspects of rural life around me in all its quotidian glory.
